According to Ayurveda, Infertility occurs when a person’s reproductive
tissue which is also known as Shukra dhatu, remains deprived of nourishment. This can be caused due
to accumulation of certain toxins in the body, increased use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, high
levels of stress associated with modern lifestyle and genetic disposition. Stress seems to aggravate the
risk of Infertility. It has been found that women with high levels of alpha-amylase, an enzyme that
correlates with stress, faces problems while conceiving.
Stress may have an impact on other aspects of fertility beyond ovulation, including problems with
fertilization and implantation in the uterus.

Some of the other causes of infertility are:
Ayurveda, lays great prominence on health during conception and afterwards. According to Ayurveda, we can increase fertility with diet, behaviors and proper lifestyle. According to Ayurvedic perception, Shukra tissue is responsible for fertility in both males and females and it has a dual function, it is not only helpful in producing sperms and ovum but also ojas ( vitality, which is often described as radiance similar to the light of the moon). Ojas creates vigor, stamina, immunity, glow in the skin, sparkle in the eyes, and clarity of mind. Ojas is the most concentrated by-product of digestion, said to reside in the heart. Ayurveda considers ojas to be an essence of nature and a cosmic substance that directly influences our experiences of life.
Shukra Dhatu- “Tissue responsible for conception and Vitality”
Conception takes place due to healthy sperm, a healthy ovum, and a healthy uterus. For both men and women,
reproductive health depends on the health of the shukra dhatu, or reproductive tissue. In women the
shukra tissue produces the ovum, and in men, it produces the semen. According to Ayurveda, healthy shukra
tissue, depends on the health of all the other tissues (dhatus) in the body.
How we care for infertility ?
In ayurveda , we will work on the three aspects: In which we enhance the quality of Shukra (male sperm
count) with the Rasayanaushdiyan , Artavam (beej )or ovum of the female and Kshetra (uterus) of the
female.
A) Shukra: Shukra Dhatu is considered to be the main Dhatu responsible for conception by the male
counterpart. Sperm count of a male is a part of this Dhatu only. With the help of our unique herbal
combinations, we enhance the quality of Shukra Dhatu making it more suitable for conception. We directly
work on the dhatus (ras, rakht, mas, medh, asthi, majha, shukra) .As in the ancient times, during the time
of Mahabharata, Kauravas have more than 100 sons because they followed the ayurvedasiddhanth by using
natural herbs.
B) Artavam: Artavam covers the various aspects required for conception
from the various counterparts. With the help of our combinations we are able to provide care to various
gynaecological conditions responsible for infertility. Even in the patients who are otherwise normal, our
combinations enhances the quality of Beeja (ovum) of the female, making it more suitable for conception.
In this aspect we covered all the things which is required to be done for helping the females suitable for
conception.
C) Kshetra: Kshetra is the uterus of the mother where the conception is to occur. Our combinations make
the uterus more effectively prepared for conception and helps retaining the foetus.
